its all so surreal to me still!!!

Jaimasee from nepal...finally! well, it has been a long time coming and i am thrilled that the time has come to adventure out into the world that i know very little of. some might ask why, others will say i am crazy, but i say "Lord, let me be your hands and feet so send me where you want!" truthfully, i believe that even though, personally, i dont understand why.

morning came too quickly because first i woke up around 4 then 5 and was in and out of sleep till i recognized the day was breaking at around 6:30. finally i got up and started my workout regime consisting of pushups and situps. when my bags arrive i will add jumproping. i went and had breakfast. again, i am still in shock that i am here for 2 years, and that i cant believe i am actually here. its all so surreal still. i met up with an old friend from last time. he and i walked around caught up, had rice, tea, and sweet fellowship! later that night i went to his home and spent time with his family who met last time too. they are so nice and hospitable. we ate a lot and i went home.

day 2 - met with a member of tiny hands, dipak. he took me around and we shopped for my bed and mattress. it was again crazy to think i am buying a bed right now. it is nice to have friends who can help me buy necessary things for my new apartment. i have no clue on cost so it is very helpful.

in the winter time, nepal has power cuts for 84 hours per week. it is nuts and annoying. there are times where darkness falls quickly when you are in the middle of something. good thing i bought a lantern!

day 3 - went shopping again for bed covers, pillow, and blanket. this is the day i move into my apartment. i am so excited. it is on the top floor of a building so i have a great view. one room with the bathroom seperate. it is my own bathroom with a western style toilet too. my apartment owner is nice and funny too. i was nervous as to what he would be like.

day 4 - just started and i am going to meet with one of the childrens' home. i am excited.

i will write more when i have time...thank you for your support and prayers. peace be with you all.
