well...it begins

i want to start off by apologizing to you all for not keeping you in the loop. this whole adventure came true in early february. things started rolling right away, but slowed down. i finally graduated!!! but the funny thing and sad for some is that i am not going to use my degree anytime soon. i have learned from many that this sort of change of plans is more common than not. i made a necessary decision to move home to be with my family before i got on a plane and did not when i would be back again. my adventure was suppose to depart early june, but i had some family business come up, which requires my attention for awhile. really close to that date is my close roommate's wedding, which i will be in. because of these two major events, i decided to stay till december 26th 2008. i have a one way plane ticket to nepal on december 26th. that is crazy!!!!

before i go any further, i would like to know what you all are doing? how life is with you? i do not just like talking about the awesome things that God is doing in my life, because He is doing big things in your lives too. SO TELL!!!

alright, i am at home in edgewood, wa. i am currently a car salesman working for my uncle at the nissan/suzuki/used car dealership. sales is completely new to me, but i am going for it. i know i will learn a lot from working with different people a business type of environment. it is really weird that i am not coaching full time. why...i do not know!

last week i did get a chance to step away from work to fly out to cleveland for a sports ministry training with ambassadors in sports. basically, it is an organization that uses soccer to reach people all over the world with the gospel! many of you know that soccer is one of the best ways to do so because it brings the richest and poorest to a common ground; barriers such as religion, class, color, etc are dropped because we all simply love the game. through relationships, we are able to be a light to those. the journey was well worth it. i learned a lot and gained new friends from different parts of the world.

i will finish with this to not take to much of your time with a lengthy update. thank you for your prayers and support and encouraging words. please update me so i can pray for you all and know what is new in your lives. wish all the best to you. enjoy the summer.

hands, feet, words, attitude...
